Fear not, Football Action has just the thing. This Christmas we’re inviting our supporters to give the gift of a football, coaching time or pitch rental to one of our projects in Central America or East Africa. We’ll send your friend, relative or colleague (or you!) a e-gift card that tells them what they’ve been bought and how it helps children living in poverty.
GIVE A FOOTBALL (or 2)
For a donation of just £20, you could provide a football or two for our project in Central Honduras. Our football sessions give over 400 school children in rural parts of the country the chance to play and learn, week in week out.
GIVE A COACHING SESSION
For £35, you could fund two coaching sessions for school children living in poor communities in Ethiopia. Football is a regular and important after-school activity at our projects, and has shown to improve the children’s behaviour, as well as their physical health.
GIVE A PITCH FOR A DAY
By donating £50, you could hire a pitch at our project in Guatemala for half a day, enabling girls who have been victims of sexual violence to play football, socialise and rebuild their confidence.
